I purchased ad packs after the profit shift and it bothered why it was not earning 3% as promised. The answer is shown below, As I chatted with live support rep Michael:

and what about the 3% maturity for ad packs purchased after the profitshift? it shows on my ad packs page that it has the same estimated earnings $15 upon maturity? and Im earning the same .2 daily from ad packs purchased after the profitshift to those purchased before profitshift. why is that?

no, but it was taken from my own earnings from PC
does it apply? or does it need to come from my own pocket which is really does not make sense

So after inquiring about it, I immediately funded my account from my own pocket and it was 3% daily indeed! Instead of earning .2$ I earned .3$.
This is really a benefit to new member indeed! Since you will need to fund your account for one time, this is your chance to benefit from this!
